Grow Vegetables from Seed in Soil Blocks

Service Description

Soil blocking is a method of starting seed in cube shaped blocks of soil, using a special tool. This creates healthy seedlings and avoids transplant shock when the plants are moved to the garden. In this workshop, participants will create their own tray of blocks to transplant into their garden. Presenter: Katrina McIntosh PLEASE NOTE: In order to present, our speaker will need a small table for the projector as well as a screen or blank wall to project onto clearly.
