Master Gardener Training

For experienced gardeners who want to learn more about the recent discoveries, trends and best practices in gardening in order to become a volunteer gardening educator.

You will be expected to contribute volunteer time and expertise in support of the education mission of the VA Extension Master Gardener Program.

​

Classes meet three hours each Tuesday and Thursday mornings from January through April.  There will be 50 hours of class time + you will be requires to complete 50 hours of intern hours your first year.

​

Registration opens annually in September.
