Service Description
Long before Europeans arrived, Indigenous peoples had already built sophisticated and successful farming systems without draft animals or metal tools. When Europeans arrived, they relied on these Indigenous crops and techniques to survive. By the time of the Revolution, agriculture played a crucial role in the fight for independence by feeding both the Continental Army and the wider population. Presenter: Bill Skipper PLEASE NOTE: In order to present, our speaker will need a small table for the projector as well as a screen or blank wall to project onto clearly. Also available via Zoom video conference.
